Cladosiphon Fucoidan CAS 9072-19-9

Cladosiphon Fucoidan is a fucan sulphate occurring in various species of the brown marine algae Cladosiphon (Phaeophyta), and has been shown to have anti-coagulant activity as well as other therapeutic indications. The fucose content of the fucan is approx. 51% and it also contains galactose (approx. 6.3%), uronic acid (approx. 15.5%) and sulfate (approx. 25%).  A recent publication describes the properties in more detail:
